We Have Some Changes

fter almost 2 years, Team AAGLA was finally able to gather in- person for a holiday dinner at Del Frisco’s in Century City. It was nice seeing everyone and connecting in person once again, which we have not been able to do very frequently since the start of the pandemic. In attendance we had our
President of the Board of Directors, Cheryl Turner, Esq., our General Counsel, Craig Mordoh, Executive Director, Daniel Yukelson and most of the AAGLA staff members.
Although it has been another challenging year, the National Apartment Association (NAA) recently notified AAGLA that we are the largest NAA affiliate in terms of member households, and we experienced the greatest growth in reported member units among the largest NAA affiliates (70,000+ units). This growth is a result of the level of services and benefits received by our members today. We are happy that we can continue providing our members with the level of services, education, up-to-date information, legal forms and strong government advocacy that has been the hallmark of our continued existence.
We hope that many of our members, friends and elected officials will join us for our Annual Installation Event and Cocktail Party on January 13, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. We are excited to celebrate what will be our 105th Anniversary at The California Club located in Downtown, Los Angeles.
Then, starting in January, we will be re-opening our office on a part-time basis, and will be available in person to assist members with questions and lease forms, and even conduct some in-person events and classes.
