Welcome New Members
One day, a landlord was sitting and waiting at a very long stoplight. As he sat there, he was merely minding his own business and patiently waiting for the light to turn green (even though there was no on-coming traffic).
As he sat there, a carload of scruffy-bearded, young men with blaring music with a half- burned American Flag duct-taped on the hood and “Housing is a Human Right” spray painted in black along the side of their beat-up, old car pulled right up next to the landlord.
Suddenly they yelled, “the rent is too damn high” and “kill all the rich landlords” and suddenly took off by accelerating with screeching wheels before the light changed.
Then, all of the sudden, out of nowhere, an 18-wheeler truck came barreling through the intersection and broad-sided the young men running directly over their car, crushing it completely and killing everyone in it.
For several minutes, the landlord sat in his car stunned and thinking to himself: “Man,” he thought, “that could-a been me!”
So, the very next day, bright and early, the landlord went out and got a job as a truck driver.
